Outpatient Counseling for Depression and/or Anxiety
Initial Assessment
The first session involves the counselor getting to know you. The counselor will ask questions about how you are doing, what is going right and what is not going so well.
Ongoing Outpatient Treatment
After the first appointment goal setting will help us learn where you want to go in your counseling. Then we work each session on helping you get to the destination of your choice.
Homework
Counseling is usually only one hour each week, but can be more if needed. Frequently it is necessary to practice what you are learning outside of sessions. You will receive homework to help make your counseling more effective and more efficient.
Affordable Cost
Most insurance pays for outpatient mental health counseling. We will work with your insurance company and bill them for you. You will be responsible for your copayment and deductible as they apply. Payment plans are available. We are providers for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Midlands Choice, Coventry, and others. Please call us for more information.
