Depression and Anxiety
Symptoms of DepressionIf you identify with several of the following symptoms, and they just won't go away, you may be suffering from depression.
* Are you having trouble concentrating, remembering details, and/or making decisions? * Do you feel fatigue and decreased energy? * Do you have feelings of guilt, worthlessness, and/or helplessness? * Are you feeling hopelessness and/or pessimism? * Are you experiencing insomnia, early-morning wakefulness, or excessive sleeping? * Do you feel irritable or restless? * Have you lost interest in activities or hobbies that were once pleasurable, including sex? * Are you overeating or experiencing appetite loss? * Do you have persistent aches or pains, headaches, cramps, or digestive problems that do not get better even with treatment? * Do you have persistent sad, anxious, or "empty" feelings? * Are you experiencing thoughts of suicide or have you attempted suicide? |

* Are you regularly tense, worried, or on edge? * Does your anxiety interfere with your work, school, or family responsibilities? * Are you plagued by fears that you know are irrational, but can’t shake? * Do you believe that something bad will happen if certain things aren’t done a certain way? * Do you avoid everyday situations or activities because they make you anxious? * Do you experience sudden, unexpected attacks of heart-pounding panic? * Do you feel like danger and catastrophe are around every corner? * Do you experience any of these physical symptoms of anxiety? Outpatient Counseling for Depression and/or Anxiety
This program is flexible to meet the needs of the individual. There is usually one individual session with a counselor each week. More sessions are available per week for those who want a little more.

Initial Assessment:
The first session involves the counselor getting to know you. The counselor will ask questions about how you are doing, what is going right and what is not going so well. |

Affordable cost: Most insurance pays for outpatient mental health counseling. We will work with your insurance company and bill them for you. You will be responsible for you copayment and deductible as they apply. Payment plans are available. We are providers for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Midlands Choice, Medicare, Coventry, Tricare, and others. Please call us for more information.
